Heather had been a frequent visitor to North West Florida, after her sister Jan settled in the area in 1990. It was Jan who first became involved with The British Pedlar, when she bought the business in 1996. Heather joined The British Pedlar in April 2000, working in partnership with Jan to relocate and expand the business, with great success. After many years of hard work and dedication, Jan left the The British Pedlar in May 2003, to pursue other business interests, giving Heather the opportunity to take over the whole business. Heather was born in Hertfordshire and spent her childhood years living in the “Home Counties” of England. Her parents and family still live in Oxfordshire. After spending 12 years working as a Sales Consultant for Allied Worldwide Movers, assisting clients to relocate all over the world, Heather decided it was time for a change of career and location for herself. She settled in Navarre, where she met her husband Charles (Chuck), who is now also taking an active role in the running of The British Pedlar. He is still discovering some of the delights of products such as Branston Pickle, Lemon Curd, Cadbury’s Cream Eggs and Yorkshire Puddings. Heather has been steadily increasing the number of products sold in The British Pedlar and has drastically increased the levels of stock held. Customer feedback has played an enormous part in this process, with many items supplied and sold by specific request. The online shopping cart boasts an impressive selection of some of these British products, however every effort will be made to supply any products not currently listed.
